Treatment for Addiction | Yorkshire UK | New Life Centre
Our treatments are specifically designed to help you become abstinent and stay that way, helping support you to Get Back To Life. Our treatments and programmes are not ‘one-size-fits-all’: we tailor our services based on individual requirements with a focus on long-term abstinence.
How we treat addictions
14-28 Day Detox
The majority can be substance free within that period.
Relapse Prevention
Up to a year and then ongoing. It may consist of Naltrexone therapy if appropriate (only after a medical assessment), Dual Diagnosis treatment, Talking therapy and a plan to support you getting back to life.
Dual Diagnosis
Did you know that up to 70% of those requiring addiction treatment may have underlying mental health disorders?
A Dual Diagnosis programme means we are treating the addiction as well as a mental health disorder such as depression or anxiety. We believe that finding the root cause of an addiction is essential to relapse prevention.
Naltrexone
We have experience of naltrexone use in a wide range of addictions and in conjunction with other medication, dual diagnosis, therapies and social interventions to provide a holistic treatment programme to give the best chance of recovery.
Already detoxed from opioids? Whether with The New Life Centre or elsewhere, for those formerly dependent on opioids, a naltrexone implants may be considered to strengthen an overall relapse prevention programme, after a medical assessment first and discussion of options.
Mental Health Programme
The New Life Centre believe that mental health is about the whole person including mental and physical wellbeing. Sometimes we need to get back to basics. Our holistic treatment programme is set within idyllic grounds surrounded by nature and wildlife to help us get back to life.
Therapy
We have many different talking therapy options that are available to the individual and their needs. From logotherapy to cognitive behavioural therapy we ensure we tailor our therapy approach based on the requirements of our patients.
